I'm just curious. I keep seeing that the game was updated on my feed page, but nothing appears to be different when I check here and there's no additions to the development log which is what I normally check for games. Are you just pushing out patches and bug fixes right now or something else?
Oh, strange that you're receiving feed notifications. Maybe it's some weird quirk of Itch. It probably happens whenever we update the store page (like screnshots, etc.) That's kind of inconvenient - sorry. You can safely ignore those from us. There'll be a devlog when there's anything of note!
i played it on steam really nice i have a question in the screenshots on steam i saw a pic with the ceuntaur and the bunny is this avoidable or unavoidable ntr
As for the scene you're referring to, Born to Breed isn't really romantically focused like that, so I would kind of hesitate to call it NTR. There isn't cheating or anything like that involved. It's more like friends with benefits, but with more feeling.
So I guess it depends on how you define NTR, but I, as someone who's not really into NTR, wouldn't classify it as such.
Now, to actually answer your question. Born to Breed is a (mostly) linear story, and that scene is a part of the story and the natural development of the characters, so it isn't optional.
thanks for the reply i don't realy have a prolem with NTR just wanted to make sure if it was becauseu when the mc of a hentai game i play gets NTRed i usualy skip the story and focus just on the scenes but i'm glad it isn't
Glad you liked it! It's hard to give an exact number, but by a rough line estimate, it's a little under 10%! There's longer between the sex scenes later on, though.
The full version will have an Android version! The interface isn't ready yet, though, and there are also some optimization issues due to the high-res videos used for Live2D, so the demo doesn't have it.
Just played through the demo, it was pretty good. Looking forward to the full release.
Though, the sound level balancing was a bit off for some of the voice tracks. Eve was significantly louder than other voice lines, and the other voices were pretty quiet most of the time, so I had to turn my system volume way up to hear them properly.
Where can I find updates about development? I took a look at the twitter, but it doesn't seem to have received any updates in a couple of months. I'm very much looking forward to this, and would love a more precise release date, if one exists.
We actually do provide regular updates on our Twitter, @rfhgames. We're aiming to have a demo out some time in late February, in time for Steam Next Fest, and then shooting for a release date soon-ish after that.
We're using a different artist for Born to Breed because the artist from Benefitship is working on the art for Benefitship 2, which is also in development. This artist also has more environmental experience, and we found their style works fairly well for the fantasy setting.
Proper frame-by-frame animation takes a very long time and is very expensive, so I'm afraid we won't be doing anything like that in the near future. It would at least triple both development time and overall cost, if not more.
A common alternative is Live2D, which we experimented with here in Born to Breed. However, I don't think that look would suit Sulcate's art. It has a tendency to look a stiff and can be kind of distracting. I doubt we'll be doing that either.
That said, it won't be quite like Benefitship 1. I expect that Benefitship 2 will take more use of dynamic camera movements and sound effects. We've experimented with in Sci-Futa, which released earlier today. I'll probably also try to have more unique CGs (rather than a lot of alts) to help give scenes an extra layer of energy and variety.
Born to Breed isn't out yet - it's releasing later this year. Pregnancy isn't a focus of the game in the usual sense, although it does have mentions of it.
Well, it's not focused on any particular fetish outside of the futanari aspects, but it does have a centaur character, a fairy character, and a situation involving a plant. It's not the focus of the game, but it is in there, among quite a few other (more vanilla) scenes.
Aww, well that's a shame but it's ok, I was thinking more rough sex or more cream pie or other minor fetish ( maybe even footjob or so) but that's ok, hope for the best for your game
one question what if you make another fantasy game similar to born to breed but yuri/lesbian and the characters including the main character herself will remain naked without clothing?
loving your shemale work, i don't know if I'm overstepping but i would like to see shemales on femboy kind of stuff, will be checking for future updates!!
Hey, thanks for the interest! We don't have anything planned like that right now, but if we can come up with some good characters and a good story, we might do it one day!
It will! We're going to be experimenting with it a bit, though! You can check out our Twitter (if you have it) for an announcement on who's doing the voices later this month! Otherwise, it'll be on the store page here eventually.
Out of curiosity, with the "themes and preferences " of Benefitship and this new project being in the same realm of including various tastes. I would love to see futa x feet action if that's at all on the table. Obligatory personal plug out of the way, genuinely loved the last game it was so simple and clean with a wonderful heartwarming atmosphere. Incredible work and I'm excited to see you guys nail it again. Thanks for all the hard work. Those voice actors too, wow amazing.
Hey, thanks for the interest! We don't really have anything lined up for foot stuff right now, although it's not off the table for future games.
As an aside, it's worth noting that Benefitship and Born to Breed are actually very different tonally, and Born to Breed is more experimental for us. We hope you'll enjoy it regardless!
Probably not for the demo, but we hope to do it for the full release. It depends on how long the script ends up being, and whether or not we're able to find the right actors for the parts, since there are quite a few characters.
Stoked for this! Your last game was very enjoyable and this one looks promising aswell. The animated scene feature is great, since I kind of missed it in the previous game. Did you change your artists? The artstyle seems to lack a bit, compared to before.
Glad you're excited! We expect each game we develop to be with a different artist, yes. The only exception is sequels/DLC, in which case we'll use the artist who illustrated the original game.
We're glad you're excited! We don't do pre-orders, since we don't need the money and customers don't really get anything out of it. We're definitely aiming to release Born to Breed within this year, though!

Can we get an android version please
The full version will have an Android version. For the time being, though, the demo won't.
ok thx
Excited for the Android Version!
Can I play the windows version through Joi play on Android ?
I don't really know; We don't test our games on third-party tools. The full version will have a dedicated Android APK, though.
where do i buy the full game??
Born to Breed isn't out yet! We've only just released the demo, but we're hoping to get the full version out some time in the next couple of months.

I hope that helps - sorry it got a bit long!

keep up the good work
Thanks! We hope you enjoy!
I just played through the demo! It is amazing so far.
What percentage of the full final story in contained in the demo? 10%? 50%?
Glad you liked it! It's hard to give an exact number, but by a rough line estimate, it's a little under 10%! There's longer between the sex scenes later on, though.
3/3 on good games. VA work in particular seems great. Excited to see the full game. Keep up the good work.
demo was nice, i enjoy the narration and VA :D and hell yes there is a cute GOBLIN!
Glad you liked it! Yeah, there'll be even more of Karla the goblin later on, so we hope you'll be looking forward to that.
Please make the game have an android apk version like the rest of your games
The full version will have an Android version! The interface isn't ready yet, though, and there are also some optimization issues due to the high-res videos used for Live2D, so the demo doesn't have it.
Okay, I tried the demo on Steam and I'm sold. The voice acting was absolutely top notch and I adore it.
Thanks, we're really glad you liked it! All the voice acting was done by one person, so I'm sure she'll be very happy to hear that she did a good job.
Wait seriously?! Holy smokes they're good!
Yup! That's why we chose her!
Yippie

Ah, sorry about that! We were on a pretty tight schedule, so we actually haven't had time to level out all the voices yet.
Glad you liked the rest of it, though! Please do feel free to let us know if you have any more feedback. We always try to make note of it.
:0
Is this going to be on android I'm the only proper file type of apk
The full release will probably have an Android version, yeah!

Really looking forward to the release.
Why did you decide to switch artists if I may ask?
We're using a different artist for Born to Breed because the artist from Benefitship is working on the art for Benefitship 2, which is also in development. This artist also has more environmental experience, and we found their style works fairly well for the fantasy setting.
That's cool. I just really liked Benefitships artist.
Completely fair! So do we. That's why they're returning for the sequel!
Lets go i loved benefitship cant wait for the sequel
Is Benefitship 2 gonna have animated scenes or is it gonna be like the first one?
Well, that's a bit of a longer conversation.
Proper frame-by-frame animation takes a very long time and is very expensive, so I'm afraid we won't be doing anything like that in the near future. It would at least triple both development time and overall cost, if not more.

I hope that answers your question!
Yes, it does. Thanks!
Looks interesting game to play
Why no download main or you still working on you game ?
I have one single question does is have pregnancy ?
Born to Breed isn't out yet - it's releasing later this year. Pregnancy isn't a focus of the game in the usual sense, although it does have mentions of it.
Okay 👌
Looks like a great game, just one question, will it have fetish or just normal vanilla futa sex?
Well, it's not focused on any particular fetish outside of the futanari aspects, but it does have a centaur character, a fairy character, and a situation involving a plant. It's not the focus of the game, but it is in there, among quite a few other (more vanilla) scenes.

Always supporting!!
With the success of Benefitship, will this have voice-acting?

It would seem your 'buy' button is currently broken. I've clicked everywhere looking for it. T.T
But seriously, very excited for this product as well. I'll be watching your group's progress with great interest.
Haha, thanks, we definitely hope you'll enjoy it. You'll be able to buy it when it releases *wink*.
Will this one also be voiced?
Probably not for the demo, but we hope to do it for the full release. It depends on how long the script ends up being, and whether or not we're able to find the right actors for the parts, since there are quite a few characters.

I kinda like this art style. Seems to fit the fantasy genre quite nicely. Like old-school fantasy flash games (adventure quest?)
WOOOOOOO! RFH not wasting any time at all to set its mark <3
Any estimates for when it comes out or pre-order options?
We're glad you're excited! We don't do pre-orders, since we don't need the money and customers don't really get anything out of it. We're definitely aiming to release Born to Breed within this year, though!
I like that production ethic, especially in this day and age. And much obliged for the prompt response!
Will keep up on news on this.
